Not at all! Prescreen reviewers watch a staggering number of videos, and our contacts in the collegiate world have never raised a single concern about repeat choreography. Here's why it works: no two dancers ever perform the same combo the same way — your artistry, energy, and personality make it unmistakably yours. On top of that, the odds of a school watching two of our students back to back are slim to none. What they're really evaluating isn't the choreography itself — it's you: your technique, your performance quality, and whether you're a fit for their program.

You'll walk away with 3 dance videos and 1 slate video exactly as they were filmed in the studio — clean, unedited footage straight from the camera, with no cuts, effects, or post-production. Jess will also flag her pick for your strongest take. From there, you'll either edit them yourself or have us polish them for you (see below!).

Absolutely! JPS offers editing of your dance prescreen as an Add-On. Just reach out for current rates and we'll take it from there.

Nope! The 30-minute filming session on October 3rd or 4th is included in your fee — but it's entirely optional. If you'd rather attend the 2-hour masterclass, learn both combinations, pick your favorite, and get Jess' feedback, you're welcome to film your prescreen on your own time and in your own space. Just note that the filming session is part of the package either way, so there's no discount for attending the masterclass alone.

That's your PRACTICE window! You'll drill your combo of choice, film yourself doing the choreography, and send it to Jess for feedback — so by filming day, you walk in confident and ready rather than guessing. Jess will be right there to coach and film you through it all.

The FastTrack is geared toward the advanced-beginner dancer or the singer who moves — anyone who wants a polished, submission-ready dance prescreen without the hassle of renting a studio, sourcing music, or choreographing it themselves. Yes! You can opt in at registration for the Ballet Prescreen Add-On ($75). You'll stay an extra 30 minutes at the masterclass on Sept 20 to learn a ballet combo, then add 15 minutes to your filming appointment to capture it.
